Royal Borough Honey is a new brand, offering locally produced honey. They’re passionate about honey quality and taste.
Partnering with start-ups is always incredibly rewarding, watching a brand grow over time and develop into a leader of its industry, in part because we know we’ve played our part in their success.
Almost a year later we still have a great relationship with the company and regularly work together to improve the websites offering to users and support with graphic elements when requested.
Although RBH were a start-up they were certain that they wanted to position themselves for growth and very intelligently chose Rare to implement a WooCommerce website enabling huge potential to scale rapidly.
The website
The RBH website is filled with all kinds of functionality and has everything you need to run a standard e-Commerce store.
WordPress was chosen to build the website because of its simplicity to integrate an online store (WooCommerce). A .csv upload plugin was added to enable RBH to upload new product information, prices and images quickly and easily.
The packaging
A key consideration of the packaging was the use of colour, to promote shelf presence and differentiate the flavours. We used a classic, formal type treatment for brand reinforcement. We were keen to drive the feeling of quality.
